In a hybrid, virtual or in-person working environment, engaging a team around decision-making, innovation or simply getting stuff done is crucial. Yet many leaders do not have the ability to create a psychologically safe environment where the team can share their ideas as well as commit to their tasks. • Community Learning Groups | Turner International

Community Learning Groups for team coaches: Open co-learning peer environment for discussion, case studies, and professional development with experienced practitioners. Community Learning Groups for Team Coaches An open co-learning peer environment Download Flyer Register Team (or group) work has been around for centuries. It is and has always been the pillar of any great society or community, leading either to its success or its downfall. In more recent times, the need for productive and harmonious teamwork within our organisations and systems has been acknowledged, leading to the birth of what is known today as the practice of ‘team coaching’. “The way in which a group of people come together and work together will always determine the quality of what they produce.” Tammy Turner Community Learning Groups. There are particular qualities that a systemic team/group coach requires to be able to do their job well. These include patience, understanding, compassion, strong organisational skills, the ability to express in their authority, the ability to listen and the knowing of when to respond. Further to these qualities, a systemic team/group coach needs to be well versed and up to date with the latest in coaching techniques, consulting, group dynamics, conflict resolution and facilitation…just to name a few. As a specialty field, systemic team coaching continues to evolve as more coaches are trained with the skills needed in supporting teams and groups to collaborate for positive outcomes in their organisations. In response to this, Turner International has established a community learning group for coaches to come together and share their expertise and experience, strengthening relationships and supporting each other to grow as practitioners and as people, ultimately benefitting the wider ecosystem. What is it? The Community Learning Group (CLG) is a peer forum, not a master class, supervision or a training program. Each session is an open co-learning peer environment which offers the space for discussion, expansion, and practice with your peers. It is specifically designed for team coaches who are passionate about their ongoing professional development. This unique hosted program is structured to provide an enriching and interactive experience that will empower team coaches with skills, knowledge, and connections. Each session will be facilitated by a Turner International faculty member. What are the benefits? Each member's benefits may vary depending on their experience level, their openness to sharing and commitment to the community learning on offer. Some benefits might be: Practical sharing of approaches, tools, selling and designing engagements Generating ideas and momentum Exposure to the diversity of team coaching engagements On-going embedding best practices There may also be a follow-on effect that the community decides to share what they've learned with their clients; through blogging or v-logging and/or research. You will be able to claim the hours spent as part of your 40 required ICF Credential Renewal hours and can be claimed as Resource Development hours, not core competencies as the COP does not have ICF CCE's associated with it. What will be covered? Each session promises to be enlightening and enriching, offering valuable insights into the world of team coaching i n a professionally guided and peer-supported learning environment. You will: Hone and expand your team coaching skills Broaden your understanding of models, tools, and frameworks Share your insights and expertise Enhance your ability to navigate Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) Discover the latest developments in Team Coaching Who can attend? Attendees will be graduates of any team coaching training program - Common examples include AoEC, PERILL/Clutterbuck Coaching and Mentoring International, Renewal Associates, GTCI, IECL, ORSC, 6 team conditions and/or Turner International. You could be an internal or external team coach or team leader. The opportunity here is for a group of team coaches to come together and deepen your understanding and proficiency in team coaching. What is the time commitment? This 10-hour program will be held every 6 weeks, for 6 sessions, plus an Orientation session to get the group started. Each 90-minute virtual session will be experiential in nature and offer both the theory and opportunity to work with the materials to begin embedding the content. When are the sessions? A ll sessions will be from 9:00am – 10:30am (Sydney, Australia time) Investment $500.00 AUD (+GST if applicable ) - All costs listed are exclusive to the Australian standard 10% GST which will be added to the final invoice. - GST applicable to Australian residents only. - You will be invoiced after registration in your currency of choice.
