Turner International's ethical boundaries framework. All coaches adhere to ICF and EMCC codes of ethics covering confidentiality and professional conduct. Ethical Boundaries Framework. Turner International’s coaches are working in the framework of the ICF and EMCC Code of Ethics, which can be consulted online at: ICF Code of Ethics EMCC Code of Ethics We include here the paragraphs concerning the confidentiality and the situations that might consider interruption of coaching. Confidentiality - the coach will: Maintain the level of confidentiality which is appropriate and is agreed at the start of the relationship. Disclose information only where explicitly agreed with the client and sponsor (where one exists), unless the coach/mentor believes that there is convincing evidence of serious danger to the client or others if the information is withheld. Interruption - the coach will: At all times operate within the limits of their own competence, recognise where that competence has the potential to be exceeded and where necessary refer the client either to a more experienced coach, or support the client in seeking the help of another professional, such as a counsellor, psychotherapist or business/financial advisor. Be aware of the potential for conflicts of interest of either a commercial or emotional nature to arise through the coaching relationship and deal with them quickly and effectively to ensure there is no detriment to the client or sponsor. - Community Learning Groups | Turner International
Community Learning Groups for team coaches: Open co-learning peer environment for discussion, case studies, and professional development with experienced practitioners. Community Learning Groups for Team Coaches An open co-learning peer environment Download Flyer Register Team (or group) work has been around for centuries. It is and has always been the pillar of any great society or community, leading either to its success or its downfall. In more recent times, the need for productive and harmonious teamwork within our organisations and systems has been acknowledged, leading to the birth of what is known today as the practice of ‘team coaching’. “The way in which a group of people come together and work together will always determine the quality of what they produce.” Tammy Turner Community Learning Groups. There are particular qualities that a systemic team/group coach requires to be able to do their job well. These include patience, understanding, compassion, strong organisational skills, the ability to express in their authority, the ability to listen and the knowing of when to respond. Further to these qualities, a systemic team/group coach needs to be well versed and up to date with the latest in coaching techniques, consulting, group dynamics, conflict resolution and facilitation…just to name a few. As a specialty field, systemic team coaching continues to evolve as more coaches are trained with the skills needed in supporting teams and groups to collaborate for positive outcomes in their organisations. In response to this, Turner International has established a community learning group for coaches to come together and share their expertise and experience, strengthening relationships and supporting each other to grow as practitioners and as people, ultimately benefitting the wider ecosystem. What is it? The Community Learning Group (CLG) is a peer forum, not a master class, supervision or a training program. Each session is an open co-learning peer environment which offers the space for discussion, expansion, and practice with your peers. It is specifically designed for team coaches who are passionate about their ongoing professional development. This unique hosted program is structured to provide an enriching and interactive experience that will empower team coaches with skills, knowledge, and connections. Each session will be facilitated by a Turner International faculty member. What are the benefits? Each member's benefits may vary depending on their experience level, their openness to sharing and commitment to the community learning on offer. Some benefits might be: Practical sharing of approaches, tools, selling and designing engagements Generating ideas and momentum Exposure to the diversity of team coaching engagements On-going embedding best practices There may also be a follow-on effect that the community decides to share what they've learned with their clients; through blogging or v-logging and/or research. You will be able to claim the hours spent as part of your 40 required ICF Credential Renewal hours and can be claimed as Resource Development hours, not core competencies as the COP does not have ICF CCE's associated with it. What will be covered? Each session promises to be enlightening and enriching, offering valuable insights into the world of team coaching i n a professionally guided and peer-supported learning environment. You will: Hone and expand your team coaching skills Broaden your understanding of models, tools, and frameworks Share your insights and expertise Enhance your ability to navigate Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) Discover the latest developments in Team Coaching Who can attend? Attendees will be graduates of any team coaching training program - Common examples include AoEC, PERILL/Clutterbuck Coaching and Mentoring International, Renewal Associates, GTCI, IECL, ORSC, 6 team conditions and/or Turner International. You could be an internal or external team coach or team leader. The opportunity here is for a group of team coaches to come together and deepen your understanding and proficiency in team coaching. What is the time commitment? This 10-hour program will be held every 6 weeks, for 6 sessions, plus an Orientation session to get the group started. - 9 Key Attributes | Turner International
9 Key Attributes: Turner International framework for team-based collaboration. Essential foundation for true evolution in business, industry, and organisations. Supporting organisations of the future using the 9 Key Attributes What is an organisation of the future? Organisations who consider people, the community, the environment as well as sustaining their commercial well-being are the organisations of the future. Naturally teams and team-based interactivity form the foundation of any future-focused organisation. 1. People focused The first and most important premise of any organisation. If it doesn’t support the ‘people’ both internally and externally, then what is it for? This can be said of every decision made within a company, regardless of its scale. A Universal Framework: The 9 Key Attributes Through our work and research, we've created the following principles for organisations of the future, not as a checklist, but what we consider standards. In an increasingly complex world, they are foundational. 2. Purpose led What is the greater purpose? Does it support the people and the wider communities it services? How far does it reach? What is the underlying why? Establishing purpose and what it means is a big part of any organisation of the future. 3. Stakeholder informed By going outside the team and building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, the team can better serve what is required with efficiency. By adopting a stakeholder-centric approach, teams produce key decisions and strategic outcomes aligned with their purpose. 4. Systemically impactful Every individual forms a key part of a bigger picture plan within the organisation. This plan cannot be achieved without quality interactions between people in teams. Conscious commitment to discussions, decisions, interactions with others and simply leading from who we are directly impacts people, teams, the organisation and beyond. 5. Cohesive in decision making and accountability Teams that work effectively together experience more unified and harmonious processes, which has its greater impact on a systemic level. Complication is always introduced. Using harmony as the start point rather than a final destination ensures that any deviation from this can be addressed with immediacy. 6. Networked through teams and shared responsibility Sharing ideas, cross-pollinating processes across teams and leveraging people’s unique contributions throughout the organisation cultivates better decisions, healthier workplaces, relational responsibility and sustainable growth. 7. Adaptive Adaptability opens us up to new understanding, awareness and potential. Being open to possibilities, curious about others’ perspectives, having the ability to shift our own and integrate this into everyday working life is vital for a cohesive and harmonious team environment. 8. Inclusive Diversity has become a social norm for many organisations. The truth is we are all equal no matter our gender, culture, age, skin colour, political consideration, sexual orientation or otherwise. An organisation of the future knows and practices true diversity as a natural expansion on this equality. 9. Evolutionary In order to evolve, organisations and their people must be open to learning and change. We understand the value of commitment as being fundamental to this process. Future-proof your organisation by implementing the 9 Key Attributes. Together, we can build a better future. Download the 9 Key Attributes
